Some common beliefs about "Fibromyalgia:"
1) As yet, there is no cure for fibromyalgia. Whatever treatment you are recommended or choose to undergo, it's possible only to manage the symptoms of the condition. 28 Jul 2023.
2) Fibromyalgia is quite common, reportedly, up to 1 person in every 25 may be affected, but since many people do not seek medical help, or are misdiagnosed there are more. There may be around 1.5 to 2 million people in the UK with Fibromyalgia.
3) The cause of fibromyalgia is not known, but studies indicate that people with the disorder have a heightened sensitivity to pain, so they feel pain when others do not.1 Jun 2021
4) The root cause of the fibromyalgia controversy is that reasonable people can argue that fibromyalgia is more a mind/brain disease than a musculoskeletal disease. But there is more to it than that. For one thing, fibromyalgia patients can easily frustrate us.16 Dec 2015
5) Research has uncovered evidence that FM is an autoimmune disease. Neuroinflammation and small-time neuropathy appear to be important elements of it.20 Dec 2021
6) Fibromyalgia is diagnosed based primarily on having pain all over the body, along with other symptoms. Currently, there are no specific laboratory or imaging tests for fibromyalgia.1 Jun 2021

There are about 1.5 million patients who have been labelled as suffering from 'Fibromyalgia' in the UK. No viable treatment other than analgesics and antidepressants are available, and the patients are condemned to a lifetime of suffering.

In the medical literature, 'Fibromyalgia' is described as a long-term condition that causes pain all over the body. Treatment is available to ease some of its symptoms, although they are unlikely to disappear completely.
The 'experts' go on to suggest that the exact cause of Fibromyalgia is unknown, but it's thought to be related to abnormal levels of certain chemicals in the brain and changes in the way the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves) processes pain messages carried around the body. They also suggest that some people are more likely to develop Fibromyalgia because of genes inherited from their parents, and in others the condition appears to be triggered by a physical or emotionally stressful event!"

The previous paragraph reads like a concoction of the absurd. This is what is called junk science. There is no science behind it other than a figment of the imagination and a ruse to entrap people into a non-existent illness and a lifetime of misery.

Numerous drugs are prescribed, each causing an adverse effect and being supplanted by even more drugs to take care of these adverse effects to a point when one cannot tell what to attribute the various symptoms to - the purported "Fibromyalgia" or the drug.

This is spelt out by the British NHS Choices website:

"You may need to take several different types of medicines for Fibromyalgia, including painkillers and antidepressants" - not a semblance of a cure. Just keep shooting up drugs.

Patients sentenced to 'the incurable Fibromyalgia' can take a sigh of relief as it appears that there is no such illness.

Patients with 'Fibromyalgia' are often affected by many symptoms which are very similar to the symptoms patients get when they have an asymmetry of their teeth and jaws. This is known as TemporoMandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD) which can cause some 40 plus symptoms.

Here is a list:
● Facial and jaw pain or tenderness in muscles around the head, especially at the back of the head at the occipital base and the mastoid attachment of the Sterno-mastoid muscle.
● Limited jaw movement; clicking, snapping, or popping sounds while opening or closing the mouth.
● Pain within facial or jaw muscles in or around the ear.
● Neck pain and stiffness.
● Difficulty breathing. The depth of each breath is poor.
● Sleep disturbances. Most patients complain of unusually light, unrefreshing sleep. Difficulties falling asleep, awakening repeatedly during the night, and feeling exhausted upon awakening.
● Symptoms of IBS including bloating, constipation and diarrhoea.
● Arthritic problems and rheumatic pains.
● Bladder and gynaecological problems.
● An asymmetry of the Atlas vertebrae which leads to many problems as this distortion affects the Vagus nerve and the Sympathetic chain causing freezing hands and feet.
● Upper and Lower back pain,
● Unlevel hips, causing hip pain and sciatic nerve pain.
● Depression and anxiety.
● Brain fog ("Fibro fog") and double vision.
● Disturbances in fine motor control of muscles.
● Extreme fatigue.

All the symptoms can be fully explained anatomically and neurologically as emanating from the asymmetry of the jaw.

Our body heals extremely fast when the correct treatment is provided. If you are following any therapy which does not bring about rapid relief, it is a total waste of time and money.

The symptoms of 'Fibromyalgia' soon start resolving on starting the CORRECT treatment.

'Physicians treating patients suspected of having fibromyalgia should initially consult a dental specialist to conduct a differential diagnosis. This step is crucial before diagnosing the patient with the controversial condition and before informing them that, while "fibromyalgia has no cure, medication can alleviate some symptoms and enhance your quality of life." Failing to obtain this dental clearance can be considered a severe lapse in medical practice.

The earlier the TMJD treatment is started, the more rapid the recovery.

If you have been diagnosed with 'Fibromyalgia' or you have not had any relief through conventional means it may be time to look into your Cranio-dental and Skeletal Asymmetry© issues (CDSA©).

In fact, you may be suffering from CDSA and NOT FM or FMS!

Testimonial from a recovering 'Fibromyalgia' patient

"About 19 years ago, I began to feel very off. I was eleven and I was shattered. I didn't look how an eleven-year-old ought to look. I also didn't understand why I felt that way. Furthermore, I just knew I was in the most incredible amount of pain, something wasn't right. It was not until I turned fifteen that the problems escalated into severe vertigo and fatigue, but because everyone was so concentrated on the weight around my middle (I weighed 60kg and measured 178cm at this time, but the weight on my stomach was the major concern.)

Aged 18 the fatigue became so debilitating I'd fall asleep in lectures and the weight around my middle and around my neck swelled. When I first saw Dr Amir - it was he who connected the reasons for the beginning of my nightmare life. I had 4 premolar teeth pulled out when I was 10, and then I had my wisdom teeth pulled out when I was 17. Within a year of those teeth being pulled, aged 11 and 17 respectively, my pain increased, my fatigue was debilitating, and I felt chronically dizzy.

Every single doctor on the NHS tried to put me on antidepressants despite my resistance. This is when I decided to go private. Every single private doctor made out I had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) or a thyroid problem, or it was all in my head and antidepressants would help. Holistic doctors tried putting me on dozens of supplements. Nothing worked.

From the age of 11 I was breathless, but doctors said I wasn't asthmatic, my family would continuously point it out, and they continuously made out I was at fault. Though they cared for me and worked hard to be able to pay for some expensive doctors who said they could cure fatigue and get rid of my weight around my stomach - when nothing worked, I felt at fault.

I collapsed with embolisms in my lungs when I was 27 years old
, at this point I was 95kg - the weight had increased despite my never eating because I was afraid of food, my fatigue and my vertigo had worsened and my pain was at a 10 threshold. I was visiting chiropractors, osteopaths, cranial therapists, Bowen technique, acupuncturists, massage practitioners, and still nothing eased off the pain long enough for me to enjoy days of pain free. The hospital where I was treated in London on the NHS was the first who I felt believed me and finally I was given labels: chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and was treated through CBT and the doctor insisted I try amitriptyline. Through all my research on fibromyalgia, this is what is used to treat it.

I felt so unwell on it, I felt sluggish, moody and so down in the mornings there would have been NO WAY I could have led a life of friendships, able to go to work and have a sense of achievement. I stopped taking them, but over the 3 years I was treated there I was made to feel at fault for not taking them. Because I refused the medication, I was therefore choosing to stay unwell. Talking with others, they have all experienced the same sort of treatment. If they refuse their medication for fibromyalgia, then they're told they're choosing to stay in pain.

Since seeing Dr Amir - and it has ONLY been 7 weeks since he began treating me - not even 2 months, I can now breathe. The breathlessness has gone. I can climb hills. I am also waking up earlier. Before I couldn't get out of bed before 11am because of the vertigo, the pain and feelings of fatigue. Now I'm up by 9-10am. I also am able to make myself breakfast. Something I could never do before. I still have pain, but the "fibromyalgia" pain is no longer as excruciating as it was. The pain has gone from sharp pain to dull aches that come and go. I also now have "bedtime" feelings. Whereas before I'd be tired throughout the day, now when I wake up I'm awake and in the evenings around 10-11pm I feel tired, so I need to sleep. I used to have terrible bladder problems which was so embarrassing, I'd need to go to the loo at least 8 times before bed, - I was told it was anxiety and all in my head - well since I've been having treatment from Dr Amir I have stopped and can now go to bed after going to the toilet ONCE before bed.

My parents and friends have noticed how happier my voice sounds, less zombie-ish, less fatigued and just generally more "me". My parents say they haven't heard me sound like this since I was 9 years old. I am now 30.

If anything, if a doctor is making you go on amitriptyline, and it's making you feel worse. Don't pursue like they keep telling you to - it's stupid. It's just big drug companies trying to put you on useless drugs which also mask your symptoms. Instead, I'd recommend looking at your body alignment, like Dr Amir says. There is always another way. And for me, it was Dr Amir."
