Statement of purpose - A small background history
Throughout my time at university and during my postgraduate studies, I have consistently dedicated myself to the practice of dentistry, both in academic settings and within the NHS and private sectors. I have had the privilege of treating thousands of patients, constantly striving to deliver care that stands the test of time. Recently, a patient shared a letter online that highlighted their experience:

“Our journey started many years ago. I was 11 years old when I visited Dr Amir’s surgery as an emergency patient suffering the most horrendous toothache. The receptionist told me that I needed my parent’s permission to be seen by Dr Amir. This was a challenge as I had to virtually drag my mother (an alcoholic – who later died from the disease) from a pub in Wandsworth to the surgery to sign the consent forms.

I was from a broken home – a completely dysfunctional single parent family. After the consultation and X-rays, Dr Amir explained everything, then performed a two and a half hour surgery that afternoon to remove an embedded canine tooth that was lying across my upper front incisors. There was a gaping hole big enough for him to put his finger right through my upper jaw and wiggle it on the other side. The canine had been touching the nerves of my front teeth, which had become devitalised. Dr. Amir had to root fill and fix post crowns on these teeth.

If I had not undergone such careful surgery, there is no doubt that I would have had to wear false teeth from age 11. Thereafter, Dr Amir took great care of me. I still have those same caps on my front teeth today – aged 52. Quite simply remarkable, and a testimony to his phenomenal dentistry not only on me but every other patient he treated with their fillings, root fillings and crowns lasting some 40 years now and still going strong.”

Over the course of two decades, meticulously working on thousands of patients and conducting my own lab work, I honed my insight, precision, speed, and dexterity.

A particular challenge I encountered was providing orthodontic care to my young patients. To address this, I enlisted a University professors' services who handled the orthodontics on Saturdays and imparted his knowledge to me. Consequently, I became highly skilled in the provision and use of both removable and fixed orthodontic appliances.

To cut to the chase, the orthodontist primarily focused on extractions, resulting in most children losing two to four teeth, with the remaining teeth being haphazardly pulled together. This approach completely disregarded dental or jaw midlines, leading to the wholesale destruction of proper cosmetic outcomes. As the outcomes appeared increasingly horrifying, my discomfort grew.

I wholeheartedly trusted him and believed that others shared the same principles that guided my own life. The treatment plan he devised required NHS approval before we could commence any procedure. It didn't take long for me to realize that many patients could be treated without resorting to the prescribed extractions. Consequently, I dismissed the orthodontist, declaring that if his methods represented orthodontics, I wanted no part in it.

Subsequently, I encountered numerous other patients who had received orthodontic treatments elsewhere, and they looked equally appalling. Driven by my perfectionism, where I worked to an accuracy of a hundredth of a millimetre in crafting crowns and bridges, I began reversing some of their orthodontic treatments. These patients had been disfigured and mangled by as much as a full centimetre, and I was determined to correct these severe distortions.

Below you see a lateral encephalogram of a patient where I completed the treatment some 25 years ago. This was the result of some heroic UNCONVENTIONAL treatment which gave both the patient and me great satisfaction.

The future for our patients and dentists

As you delve into the discussions within this forum, it becomes evident that the altruistic approach to medicine has long vanished. Both dental and medical education, whether by design or deception, are structured in a manner that sustains illness rather than alleviating pain and suffering. This forum aims to unite a global network of practitioners committed to administering appropriate treatments and supporting one another in the pursuit of genuine healing, as highlighted throughout various sections of the forum. We must embrace a profound transformation and break away from conventional practices. This will undoubtedly stir controversy, but the success stories of recovered patients will overshadow any opposition from authorities.

Our objective is to truly meet and satisfy our patients' needs, avoiding the endless cycle that leads to no real progress. To reach these aims, it is essential not only to provide high-quality basic dental care, but also to understand how achieving perfection and symmetry in the oral region contributes to overall skeletal and bodily harmony. This balance is crucial for the proper functioning of various bodily systems, including digestive, respiratory, muscular, cardiovascular, and neurological systems. The genuine solutions to many health issues lie in and around the mouth, and it is imperative that we recognise this connection.

A seemingly minor alteration of just 2 millimetres in the mouth can lead to a significant 5-centimeter imbalance in the hips. This realization underscores the immense responsibility resting on your shoulders. You have a choice: to continue as you have been, or to step up and greatly benefit your patients through precise oral interventions. While governing bodies might be oblivious to this impact, your foremost duty is to your patients, ensuring they receive the correct, non-damaging treatments. Our evidence must be irrefutable to withstand any objections, and a global support network among professionals will help counter the resistance from some unscrupulous regulatory authorities.

For some practitioners, it will be an easy task, for others it will be a steep learning curve.
We kindly ask for your patience as we strive to enhance this forum every day. Numerous esteemed dentists are already implementing the methods discussed here. We would greatly appreciate receiving case studies to publish on this platform, which will help raise awareness among the public who have endured the challenges posed by big pharmaceutical companies.

I have dedicated significant time and resources to developing this idea. It demands substantial investment, and any support would be immensely valued.
